Your Space or Mine
Michelle specializes in design and construction using sustainable
practices for commercial environments. Both a creative and technical
individual, her contributions include visual conception of raw 3D ideas
for new buildings, as well as programming development, space
planning, and FF&E for re-purposing or enhancing existing buildings.
Her project experience is broad; encompassing multi-family housing, award winning boutique art hotels, restaurants, children's play and care facilities, corporate branded environments, tenant improvements, veterinary clinics, senior living spaces, medical office buildings, retail, and industrial expansion projects.
Â
As a curious observer of human interactions, the balancing of technology with interpersonal skills to enhance collaboration is a fascinating challenge. Utilizing BIM with the goals of internal quality, high performance building documentation, team development, refinement of vision, and seamless coordination, she pro-actively adapts to fluctuating communication styles and approaches in the design processes of many leading to remarkable projects.
Â
Her design approach incorporates user feedback; sophisticated and efficient lighting; color trends; innovative programming; environmentally and appropriate human-healthy materials with practical construction methods. Using an inclusive and empathetic philosophy she finds smart, simple, stylish and playful solutions to challenging issues while delivering positive results for clients, facilities operators, communities, and end-users.
